No sé qué puede haber pasado por la cabeza de Martin Solveig para decidir que "The Night Out" sea él tercer single de "Smash". Es, desde que escuchas el disco por primera vez, uno de los cortes más flojos y menos llamativos. Además, el videoclip no es ninguna maravilla, pero sigue siendo cierto que cualquier canción de "Smash" es mejor que la mayoría de la electrónica comercial actual.

I don't know what could pass in Martin Solveig's head to choose "The Night Out" as the third single from "Smash". It's, since the first listening to the album, one of the weakest tracks and least flashy. Besides, the music video is no wonder, but it's still being true that any song from "Smash" is better than the biggest part of the actual mainstream electronic.
